Coconuts

For those of you have seen the movie "Monty Python and the Holy Grail," this post is for you.

Every year my little town holds a children storybook parade. Usually I don't go because no one in my family likes to go to parades. This year, however, I did end up going.

It was a celebratory party because Matt's relay broke the school record on the 200 Freestyle relay!!!! Yay!!!! It was so exciting. Heart-pounding, jumping up-and-down exciting. It deserves so much more than just a banana.

So, Matt and I went to the parade to celebrate. He told me how good it felt and all that fun stuff. We watched his little sister dance. She is pretty cute.

Story interruption! Matt reminds me of Carl. Matt treated his sister how Carl treats me. It's just a little strange sometimes.

Ok, back to the story. Carri was a flower and she gave me a hug! A wizard turned me into a newt. The teletubies drove by and gave me living nightmares. One day you will get to hear an epic teletubie story.

After the cold parade, we went on a Richard search. First, we looked in the cinnamon rolls. He wasn't there. Then we took some time to smell the roses, and didn't find Richard there. In the end, he was no where to be found.

My life was saved by Matt. A car almost ran into me, but then he played Edward and stopped it. Not really, he just pulled me back and said "Saved your life!" like in Finding Nemo. It was great.

This is where the coconuts come in. We pressed the button for the crosswalk and crossed the street. While we were crossing, Matt pointed out some people crossing the street on the opposite side. One of these people happened to be James. James is my partner in Madrigals right now. He does drama so it makes sense for him to be in this story.

James had the coconuts. And he played them like the guy in the movie. The other people with him galloped.

It was awesome.

This was a good story. It made me laugh out loud, especially the part about looking for Richard.

I do enjoy how it was James that was doing that :)
